YouTube Christmas Toplaylist!

Hi All!

it's been a while since my last blog. As an update, I am now still working on another movie project, hopefully I can publish it soon :) Nevertheless, the best thing to be thanked first is: I got my internal hard disk data recovered!  YEEEEAAAAYYY! *VmarkFingers* Thus, all those unedited n finished projects now officially are Safe and Sound! HUAHAHAHAHAHA! *plak*

And.... as Bieber said that this was the most beautiful time of the year, lights filled the street spreading so much cheers... this time, I would like to say Merry Christmas to all of you!!!!

Inspired by Axioo's Christmas video, there was a big hope at the early of December to make such Christmas music video / comedy yet unfortunately due to those prolonged strikes - broken HD, busy works, no Christmas event invited me :( :P - I have to delay it to the next Christmas(es)!

As a compensation (& as something to be updated on this abandoned blog :P), here is my pick on the top 10 Christmas songs covered by my favorite YouTube Artists (in random order):
  • Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday (N'sync) - Jason Chen & Joseph Vincent
  • Mistletoe (Justin Bieber) - Legaci
  • Let It Snow - Gabe Bondoc & Kina Grannis
  • The Christmas Song - Peter Hollens

  • Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - AJ Rafael, Tranley & Peter Martin Jr

  • Silent Night - Cathy Nguyen ft. Travis

  • Santa Claus Is Coming to Town - Andrew Garcia ft. AJ Rafael
  • "Ho Ho Ho" - YTF (Kevjumba, Ryan Higaniga, Andrew Garcia, JR Aquino, Victor Kim, D-Trix, Chester)
  • The Christmas Song - David Choi, Inch Chua & IYCA
  • Home: Word - Magnetic North ft. Taiyo Na

In addition to that, don't forget to check my favorite Christmas short movies:

As usual, Am-Asians always dominate my YouTube favorite list :))
Alright, time to go... Hope You Enjoy! Merry Christmas!!!!!!! Peace on Earth :]

    VPR - "Occupy Bandung" Trailer

    Hi!

Welcome back to my Video Project Review. This time, I just finished a trailer for my next movie, i.e.: "Occupy Bandung". The reason behind this trailer production is actually I don't have time yet to produce the full-version movie :P, thus I decided to go with some teaser first to depict how insane our trip was!!! :D

October 21, 2011 - We went to Bandung to attend our college-mate wedding, Uchi (Congrats, Uchi!) - married on the day after. After 2hours Jkt-Bdg trip, we went directly to Sarwang with tonnes of "jeroan" ready to swim into our stomachs. Along with some 'classic' jokes and birthday call for our friend in Japan, finally the food came! I won't talk much about the food, will just show you some pictures here:

    Legendary Perkedel Cemplung
    Definitely Unhealthy Tasty Cuisine

Full stomach, time to get some exercise. We then picked our university, ITB as our next destination. Walking & playing around at campus on midnight was one of our most unforgettable moments! 5 mins after, we got bored and tried to figure some excitement. Inspired by the popular-must-watch Korean Reality Show, Running Man, these 6 boys were ready to blow up the midnight silence of the campus!!!!

Boys Ready to Shake the Campus!

However..... Full stories and movies on it will be published later... :]
For now, let's enjoy the trailer! Check the epic ending how we finally got caught by the ........ :S

See ya on the final version of "Running Man in ITB" episode!
... and some movies/another trailer 'bout our randomness during the trip!

Friendships Last Much Longer Than Life Lets Us

    Roller-Coaster Week !

Nothing's more decent to describe what took place on my last 7 days. Sadness, Mournful, Intense, Laughs, Joys, Memories, and tears assembled my heart pulse up & down. Opening this week by losing my best friend, Dipo, my pilgrimage was continued by an tense and hectic time on work. Nevertheless, as birds always singing after the storm, happy ending then just came on the scene to incur my smile at the end.

I have the greatest friends I could ask for!
To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world!

    Saturday, November 5 2011, I had my 26th birthday!!! YEAH 3X!
Thanks God for being healthy in my birthday after 5 years of having health problems (2007, 2009, 2010 - stomach ulcer & 2008 - broken wrist). Maybe I was just feeling too nervous to welcome this day to come :p

It does always feel good when friends start crowd into our days, no? ;) Friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life and thanks to a benevolent arrangement that delivered us from the anguish of loneliness! To all birthday calls, walls, tweets, live greetings and the most legendary one: BIRTHDAY VIDEO (!), I would like to take a bow and thank all of you!!! It's such an honor to have you all :D

Birthday video form people we love... something that I always think as the best birthday present we could get. It's much more important, lovely, and memorable than physical gifts (IMO). And, to know that some people willing to make that for us, it is a.... BLISSFUL BLESS!

EPIC Star-Wars introduction, HANDSOME & COOL slideshows (STELLAR "BELAH TENGAH", isnt it! -__-"), CREATIVE 5 words/5 greetings ('5', isnt it? hahaha, just my guess), and SWEET dubbing marathon with FRIENDLY soundtrack! My credit goes to....
    1. Mirza "Mie" Harun. Thank you to take a role as director, editor, uploader, and (maybe) coordinator as well for 2 times in a row! This year's video is more ROCKIN! Long Live Buku Angkatan!!! 2. 'Silet' Riko. Bau, ko! hahahaha, thanks ya! where should we flush this weekend ;) Looks great Ko to do dubbing video! Let's make it laaah! *yyy-th invitation*
    3. 'Silent' Nurul. Wooow! the ballerina is in the house!!! What a turn at the end! hahaha... Thanks ya! Let's have another impulsive event!
    4. 'Ninja' Atiek (*kasih nama sendiri*). Pilla a' Pila a'.. *brings flashlight* :)) Thank you for being the light to guide me :] | The nurse costume is not bad anyway *auuuum* *raawwl*
    5. 'Professor' Batari. Thank youuuu, Gtalk mate! Ameeen for all wishes (thou last one seems also like 'curhat' :p).. Don't study too much, you just miscounted your greetings. it's not 6!!!! Or, did it mean 26? Grrrrrr.. hihi, Thanks ya, MoCheek!

    7. 'Nigachinese' Ranco. Ahiiy, xie xie, Niga! huahahahaha.. Great effort to find someone writing words-I-dont-even-know-what-it-is, learning the pronunciation-I-dont-even-know-how-to-spell-it-properly, and singing full of soul til blinking your puppy eyed dogs many times (no need actually, no more effect now, hahaha). Thanks n enjoy your study & forbidden love ther!
    8. 'K-Freak' Boteh. iiiih, K-freak!!! huahahahha, where's my running man!!! Nice background anyway booh! And, of course, Awesome wishes! AMEEEEENNNNN!!!! Ji hyo man se, ji hyo man se, ji hyo man se!!!

Thank you all! Friends forever Enemies Never. Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. "You can always count on me like 1, 2, 3... I'll be there".  Will always remember this video :)

I always believe that "What we do to our fellows is what we do to our own selves and God". Hence, all happening this week alarmed me of good deeds, indeed. Despite of different life orientation & perspective we hold, I think: The more we ignored our fellows, the more apathetic we are, the more abandoned we will be; and vice versa. At the end of our life, people will remember more of what we do for and with them, not what we do for ourselves. Let's Live highly to share and care for and with others | much worth it :]

All of these experiences made me really grateful and realized how beautiful life is. I just remembered what my Pastor told this morning:
"There's a story (parable) of animals and human beings. When Cow asked for grasses, God gave them wide pastureland; When Lion asked for meat, God directly provided the fresh flesh; When Eagle asked for food, God immediately offered fish; When fish asked for food, God straightly supplied worms, and so on so forth.

Then, human started to get jealous. He asked God to ease their ways in finding food (happiness). But, God didn't easily give it to us. He wants us to keep looking and trying our best during our time here, in this world. That's why God creates us to be able to stand up and look to the sky comfortably while most of animals can't stand up and move their head simply to look above (always look down). They re destined to look to the earth, while we re fated to glance at the sky - heaven - our final destination where eternal live will be found.
    "

    ____
Happy Ied Al-Adha (for my Moslem friends)!
Happy Sunday (for my Christian friends)!
Rest in Peace for Dipo & Romo Wi!
Happy days ahead and GBU all :]

    "In Heaven"

    [I] Sunday Midnight, October 30, 2011...
Opening my laptop after attending my high school mate's wedding, I turned back a music video (MV) told by my friend, Boteh. It's a Korean MV with my current favorite artist performance (from 'Running Man' reality show) playing a role as the video clip model. Its title is "In Heaven" - JYJ.

I firstly opened this MV at the afternoon. At the beginning, I just enjoyed watching my actress' acting. After hearing it over and over, I started getting curious with the meaning behind the video. Yet since I had to go already for the wedding, I finally got the chance to answer my curiosity at Sunday midnight around 12 AM.

And here is some review I found out:
"We see Junsu (the man) at a corporate meeting where his girlfriend gives him a call. She’s full of emotion, her eyes full of sadness. Because this meeting is important to Junsu, he glances at the phone and ignores the call.

When the call is missed, we see that the phone background is of falling raindrops, like the tears that stream down her face. Symbolism much? Distracted, lost in thought, Song Ji Hyo (the woman)  meanders into the street when she is struck by an oncoming car.

    Fast forward a few years.
Junsu seems to be still struggling with Song Ji Hyo’s passing and seems to regret what has transpired. But the viewer soon sees that the surroundings have changed and that all of a sudden, Song Ji Hyo is at his front door as if nothing has happened. It’s actually Junsu’s second chance.
Not too soon after, the day of Song Ji Hyo’s death approaches and we see that Song Ji Hyo has left her phone on the counter, which means that Junsu’s warning is useless. He runs out of his meeting, deciding that this time, he will go to her instead of ignoring her. Good thing too – she’s about to be struck by yet another car. In the end, we both see them sitting on a bench in what seems to be “heaven”

This video was composed by one of JYJ member, Jaejoong, to show that everyone has a feelings of regret. Recently, one of well-known Korean actor, Park Yong Hwa, has just committed suicide. The day before, he called this Jaejoong to go out for a drink, yet since Jaejoong was in the US for recording, he had to decline the offer and delayed it until he got back. and dedicated to a Korean artist who just committed suicide. Unfortunately, he was unable to make good on the offer as the next day....

[II] Monday morning, October 31, 2011..
One of the most difficult morning I have ever lived. Around 6:30 AM, I was awaken after my phone rang and showed Zikril's name. I ignored it and went to bathroom. Back from there, checked my BB and got 7 BBM and 4 groups. Something's wrong.
At that moment, I, we, got shocking vile news about the death of Dipo Ardiansyah, my college friend, my lab mate, my basketball team member, my brother. I couldn't believe that news and I didn't want to believe it. I was shivering for quite a long time. I wasn't able to sleep anymore and all mixed feelings blended into hot n cold. He just passed away on 11:10 PM yesterday, an hour from when I figured out the meaning of the video.

Knowing that he got car accident just like in that MV and I haven't even got the chance to talk a lot with him for the past few months, it's really hard for me. As my conversation going along with his best friend who is in Netherlands nowadays...

E: "Yes.. But, we've gotta be strong"
L: "But that's just a theory, Do. He's a good human-being. He's my best friend. We're always schooling together since High School... and, now he's gone."

I feel terribly awful today. I remembered how Dipo once joked with me that he never got invited to be in any video for friends. Thou he laughed at that time, I feel really sorry n regretful for that. I am sorry, Po... Memories of me and him kept flashing. The image of his face in that accident kept depicted in my mind. Even, looking at his wife, Loli, and pictures of him & his daughter was truly mournful.
This is my first time losing someone who's really really close to me. I knew I wouldn't be able to strong enough to hold my tears for this occasion, thus I usually preferred not to think about it... Until at the end, today I understand this quote: "We understand death only after it has placed its hands on someone we love." My eyes got red many times today. Not only me, but also all of us couldn't hold our sorrow to lose and to let Dipo go away from our lives.

However, in the fullness of time, What we have once enjoyed together, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us... You and your spirit will always live highly in us. Thank you for being such an inspiration for us and for me personally. I will always remember......
    • How FUNNY Dipo is.
I really loved his joking about our friends. He often forgot them, yet confidently tried to convince me that he knew those people / events.
      • When he mentioned one of our veiled woman friend's hair was curly,
      • When he asked for 1000x "sorry" writing as punishment on ospek
      • When he often pulled me away from crowd and asked me "where is that YYY working now?",  "is ZZZ married already?",  "has WWW graduated?", or even "who is that person's name, doo???"
I do believe you will cherish and make more people hold their stomach and cry out laughing aloud in Heaven :]
    • How INTELLIGENT Dipo is.
Thou we frequently had different way of thinking, Dipo was one of the smartest man I've ever known. I knew this man since year 1 already and I did understand how smart he was. His expertise in Operational Research really made me amazed. His ideas were brilliant, and.... crazy a bit. :) Yet, he did know what he wanted and lot of passion put in his effort. I'm sure you won't stop learning in Heaven :]
    • How TALENTS-GIFTED Dipo is.
Sports! Any kind of sports... he can excel on them!
      • All TI04 knows how dangerous this guy was in futsal. He could dance around us easily and scored an easy goal by a soft touch. He could even do it with fat belly on his stomach!
      • Oooh, oooh! Remember how many sports coordinator competed to put Dipo in their team for ITB olympiad?! SADIIIISSS!!! No one knows how great he was in badminton til out-of-nowhere he became the 2nd best in ITB!
      • And, I won't and I can't forget on how we're working together in basketball team, passing through hard times altogether. Even last week, on my way to Bandung with Ben (one of the basketball team member), we talked about Dipo how sober he was after our first final defeat. I still remembered how I tried to get him back into the team for our last championship, even by persuading her girlfriend (now her wife). How desperately I need this guy's amazing talent. He came and we did win a lot, just a bad luck spared us from 1st champ. It was a great experience to train Dipo. You're my best Shooting Guard, dude! Keep the "Deer Jump" and "Killing Shoot" while you're playing in Heaven :]
    • How CARING & SOCIAL Dipo is.
He taught me (& my friends) a lot about caring & sharing. He cared his family so much, his friends so badly, and his surroundings so thoughtfully. I can't remember how many times he told me how hard people's life was. He loved teaching and sharing. He's very passionate every time our lab had sharing session and tutorial. And, I just knew he did work as lecturer recently for Operational Research (news from Ben). He loved cherishing me in bad times. He's such a life-proof of "Keep smiling, keep shining, knowing you can always count on me for sure.... That's what Friends Are for. In good times and bad times, I'll be on your side forever more..." cos, that's what Dipo is for. Keep making a better world in Heaven, Po :]

[III] Tuesday Late Night, October 31, 2011.

" In the arms of the angel
    Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
    Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here (in heaven)"

Words won't be able to describe our missing on you, Po. It just relieved me a bit. But, you will always stay in my and our heart. Now, you're already in the arms of the angel. Our prayers always be with you, Loli, Keysa and family.
I promised I'll try my best to involve you this time in the video. I'm sure you'll be happy to watch it from Heaven and gotta be a lot of fun, Pooo!!!! :)

Meanwhile, Po...just wait and Rest in Peace yaa... Be good in Heaven =)

    Godspeed,

VPR - Rifqi Reti "God Bless The Broken Road"

    Hi Guys,

It’s another Video Project Review time!!!!
This is my third wedding project I’ve ever made (after Intan-Tezar's slideshow and Bin-Dzikri’s marathon singing). And, this time I dedicated this video for Rifqi and Reti. Happy birthday as well for Rifqi, hope you really enjoy our present :)

(Left to Right): Intan-Tezar Slideshow, Bin-Dz Greetings, Rifqi-Reti Video Clip

    Image Found in Rifqi's FB
    'Profile Picture' Album
A lil bit story behind this video is about how I came up with the idea of bringing all this together.  A week before the wedding day, I thought about what we should give for this opportunistic-yet-fortunately-generous guy. I started searching for a right wedding celebration song, started discussion with some people, basically trying to find the simple yet kinda cynical. 1 of the brilliant idea was Vidi’s idea, i.e.: to sing a mash-up of PLAYBOY (7 Icon), Setahun Kemarin (Kahitna) and other sweet romantic song… then make a video clip of it. It’s about love journey of Rifqi Harimuji :]

However, as this present was not well-planned and it’s only a week left, it was cancelled. I decided not to continue this project. However, all just turned around into an uneasy feeling when the D-Day came. Just a bit uneasy, anw. LOL

So, While p**ping at the morning of September 17, I decided okay let’s go with a simple idea. All shoots should be conducted during the party. I decided just to go with one song and apologize not to use my friend’s brilliant idea. “God Bless The Broken Road” by Rascall Flatts has been my favorite song since long time ago. The lyrics are very sweet and honest. And, more importantly, it fits directly with Rifqi’s character: PLAYBOY yet LOYAL.

Then, I just tried to call some of my friends to print 1-whole-page of Rifqi’s face. Thanks to Boteh and Maya for their assistance at that time. And, after all, it just happened naturally. Decided to come early just to shoot the ceremony, thankfully I arrived exactly at the moment of Rifqi and Reti getting off their car. So, first job was well done *though I captured it in portrait :P*. Some happy moments were captured as well.

And, finally the main idea was successfully taken after Eja half-heartedly volunteered himself to wear Rifqi’s mask and humiliated by many girls on the party. LOL, big salute anyway for Eja’s willingness!!! It’s hilarious to watch him chasing girls apprehensively, until one moment…. I wasn’t able to hold my laugh and directly squatted down and then… ….. …… … . *sreeeettt*  #embarrassed

Ripped Trousers and A Wedding Crasher in Action (Short & Sandal!)

At the end, it came to editing part. After 4 weeks apart from the wedding day, I started to edit this project. Since the song was quite long and I didn’t capture many shoots before, so here comes the FB ‘visiting’ time! Hahaha… Once while trying to get Rifqi & Reti’s pictures, somehow someway Rifqi said hello to me on FB chat! What a coincidence!

Inspired by some videos from youtube and vimeo, this is also my first time using the accelerated rewind mode and two people’s faces combination. I also put my comments at the end of video *finally show up at the video!!! :p*, since stil have 1 more scene to be inserted (bye-bye clip). Accompanied by Almus’s guitar & Shana’s violin instrument play (“Grow Old With You”), hopefully I didn’t ruin the video. Hahahaha.. Please, forgive meee...

By and large, here’s the result. Hope you all enjoy it, especially Rifqi and Reti. Thank you very much to all people involved in this video as well. Good life, everyone!!! :D

Happy Wedding Rifqi Harimuji & Reti Oktania

VPR - Dannu Danil "Black Birthday" Project

    Hi!

welcome to VPR (Video Project Review) section! VPR was meant to be my main reason to start this Edo.Com blog. (Refer to my 1st post)

This time, I'm going to discuss Dannu's birthday project which was launched a year ago - 26/10/10. It was his little 'naughty' girlfriend, Ubi, who initiated this present. Since we only had limited time at that moment, we decided just to go with "Voice" only. Due to his 'blackness', I tried to combine the voice with black background and couple Bright-To-Dark images as the intro.

Ubi's Sweet Part in "Black Birthday" Video

There were 41 people involved in this video, sent their voice recordings to me. And, it was really amazing after opening their attachment since the ideas were freakin'ly brilliant! Sing-a-song, stories-telling, horror stories, greetings, and ended with a special one from the lovely person :]

If i have to pick my top 5 favorite parts, I am choosing...:
    1. Aswan & Rahmat (vol 2): our local jokes re poured into this clip: "Dimana? Dimanaaa Otaaaak lo", "Simpang Cikutra", "Dannu Si Telaat", etc. Anyway, Rahmat seemed like already love to use "Jemput Nyokap" reason since long time ago! ... and, someone admitted that he waited another person from Japan *aauuuum* :P || CREATIVE!
    2. Restu, Atiek, Rara, Ayu (vol 1): horror stories with satay street vendors. It was very hilarious story-telling and two thumbs up for the idea and effort! || SALUTE!
    3. Nenek Eji (vol 2):Grandma showed her real granny personality here. || FUNNY!
    4. Ilai (vol 1): 'Cinta 1 Malam' Remake! || CRAZY!
    5. Lovely ending from Ubi who did buy a birthday cake at late night and shot it soon :) || SWEET!

Last word, Happy Birthday one more time ('seX lagi') for Dannu! And, although 1 year passed already, hope you still enjoy watching one more time our birthday present ....

    Yours,
    -Best FriendS-

IYA [October] ~ Boyz II Boys

    Hi all!

    2nd post! 2nd post! 2nd post! :D

Welcome to IYA Section! IYA is a discussion about Indonesia Youtube Artists. Prior to that, let's talk a bit how I got amazed & started fallin in love with this online site so-called YouTube.

Thanks to the wonders of social media, nowadays talent scouts are more likely to find the next big thing online. Video-sharing uber-site YouTube has since taken over as the wannabe stars' starting point. Whether you’re an indie kid, a pop princess or a rising rocker, it seems pretty clear that uploading your performances to YouTube might well pay off! And it's always been such a personal pleasure to figure out new under-rated artists on this channel.

Bieber, Charice, Dia Frampton, Andrew Garcia and many TV singing competition artists (Idol, The Voice, Sing-Off, etc) found their golden tickets to the media spotlight ~ thanks to this mecca of video-sharing websites. Not only well-known singers but also new indie artists (check: Legaci, Peter Hollens - ex The Sing-Off "On The Rocks", Cathy Nguyen, AJ Rafael, David Choi, YouTube sensation "Sam Tsui", ), movie-freak producer (check: freddieW, WongFu Production), comedian (check: Ryan Nigahiga!), and many others are racing to cut the mustard n being on the top of the heap thru their channels.

    My Favorite YouTube Artists

Millions artists from around the world are seeking the recognition thru YouTube and so are Indonesian artists-wannabe. In the past 3-4 years, it's amazing to see how rapid the growth of YouTube awareness in Indonesia - maybe as a result of increasing internet penetration here. Gamal, Audrey & Chantika (GAC) might be the most popular great YouTube celebrity from Indonesia. While, Shinta Jojo, Norman Briptu are examples of raising stars who really knew how to acquire Indonesia market thru so-so-yet-full-of-sensation performance.

As the trend goes by, hopefully I might be able to share couple of IYA I know. And, PLEASE feel free to input any great IYA names you know!!!! Anyway, this time, I would like to share 1 fantastic IYA found out on October. Thanks to Aldut, my best YouTube helpmeet :P. So, who is this month IYA???!

    Boyz II Boys

Boyz II Men, no?! Completely different! Hahaha... At the outset, I had no idea at all who they are until my friend told me to watch their videos. I really like their music color and relaxed style. If you only open your eyes & set mute mode on, I think people will just shut down their computers. Yet, trying to put your earphone then magical voices just blow into your ears. Their voices blend slickly!

    Boyz II Boys YouTube
    Channel Cliparts
This group, who re used to proudly admit themselves just graduated from Junior High School, originally had 4 members: Kunto Aji (Indonesia Idol), Beboy Sevensoul, Teddy Adhitya, and Adera. They had couple of videos uploaded in their members' individual channels. As the team's as Adera chose to go with solo career (Check: Adera - Lebih Indah), the formation has changed: 1 out, 2 in. Angga "The Beatboxer" and Monte "The Twitter hacker" brought a new flavor into Boyz II Boys music color. Thou I really take a bow for percussionist *beatboxer* (and awesome you covered 1 of my favorite group, Legaci! Check the video here!), I have to say I still love old Boyz II Boys more. Yet, I think since there're just only 2 videos from this new concept, it'd be interesting to wait for their more upcoming videos!

If I have to rank, here are my top 10 favorites for Boyz II Boys performance:
    1. Sempurna (Andra & The Backbone cover)- really love this song so badly, either its original or cover or even choir version. Teddy's voice really triumphed this performance. Aji's groovy jazzy tune also made this lovely cover so "Sempurna"! PERFECT!
    2. I Believe I Can Fly (R. Kelly cover) - nice guitar play by Adera, improvisation from Aji, and unique arrangement. The "fly, fly, fly" verse is SICK!
    3. Care About You (Babyface cover) - I don't know this song, yet I might soon browse and download it. haha.. Adera & Beboy really brought the house down here. SWEET!
    4. Kisah Romantis (Glenn Fredly cover) - Glenn Fredly's romantic song of romantic story was well sung by Boyz II Boyz. Actually, it's a so-so performance yet their crazy improvisation did successfully. SILLY!
    5. Dia (Maliq n D'essentials cover) & Because of You (Keith Martin cover) - can't choose which one I prefer most, so equal score for the 5th rank :). ENJOYABLE!

    DotCom - Dotting Our Communities

    Hey!

Welcome to my first post in my first blog ever! :)
It's been on my head for past few years to commence a blog to share more what I love to do. Moreover, someone out there, a true blog-writer-who-loves-to-persuade-me-in-blogging successfully accomplished her mission. Haha..  And, I guessed it's better to start late than bury our dreams, right? ;)

    So, here I start!
As an early introduction,  let me walk you down to the idea of my blog name and what this blog will mostly talk about.

"DotCom" is an abbreviation of 'Dotting our COMmunities'. edo_dot_com itself was my email address made idly during my childhood.

While, 'Dotting Our Communities' originated from what I love to do in the past 3 years, i.e.: making any visualized presents (videos, slideshows, board game, photos, etc) for my friends particularly for their special days. Pleasant moments that've been felt missing in my life and my friends' after our graduation.

Simple proverb said: "All start from small things."
At first, it wasn't easy at all. Yet, as the time goes by, things are getting better and better.

FROM being so difficult in collecting people INTO cultivating eagerness & passion in people's hearts to be involved in every single project
FROM very simple cheesy boring ideas INTO more attractive beguiling concepts
FROM calling & borrowing my friends' cameras INTO having my own camera with quite good resolutions
FROM relying only on images INTO playing more wildly with videos
FROM only putting all images, transitions, n texts in WindowsMovieMaker INTO craving of new movie editing techniques in FinalCutPro
FROM loving songs n artists without understanding the lyrics INTO being addicted of lyrics & beats

And... the most pleasant and satisfied change I felt is:
FROM a cynical, anti-social, n stiff person INTO someone who now believe fully in true sincere friendship and try to live for n with others
:P Now it does sounds cliche, Do! LOL.

Yet, that's an idealism and principle I keep so far. Sometimes, we thought something cliche is such a rubbish, too abstract, and whatever negative words to describe it.
However, without positive attitude and strong belief, we're just getting weaker and dying.
Without bad experience, people will not learn any lesson.
And, this is definitely what inspired me to prove that true since friendship does exist!

Inspired by this friendship ideology, at least I found 1 of my passion... which is: Visualization for Our Loved Ones! And, so far, it's been a really great journey to experience this never-ending learning curve. A lesson of people management, humanity, respect, caring, creativity, and certainly friendship!

Whoever, whenever, wherever we are... always be grateful for any experience we have, look at the bright side, and turn them up into our motivation to show what is right instead of asking them to do it!
    Fight negativity with positivity!
Connect our past dots and be an agent of Change! Keep Changing, yet only to good ways..
We all re on our way to that dream, I do believe it :)

"Phew! What was that, Edoo???" Hahaha. After such a long background, the conclusion why I made this blog almost comes up to the end. In a nutshell, this blog will mostly discuss a story behind my Dotting-Our-Communities projects. What ideas coming at the early stage, what kind of concepts used, who are involved in this project, n finally the showtime!

Hopefully, I will always remember to write down all "Behind The Story" projects and never stop this passion.
It's only a small chapter in my life,
a small thing I can do for and with others,
yet full of a big mission to deliver peace to the world...
    especially to my surroundings.

    VIVA FRIENDSHIP! :)
